No, that's not a birth weight, that is his estimated weight at 36 weeks. He gained ~2.5 lbs in the previous 4 weeks, and with 4 weeks left to go, this is going to be a big baby! Maybe 10.5 lbs! good thing I have big bones (never thought I'd hear myself say that!)
Can't wait to meet him!

What did your doctor say about the c-section/induction? Hope she is willing to work with you. Let me know if you want to talk more. MAN you are getting soooooo close!!! I can't wait to hear the real birth weight!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Bless your heart, and your pelvis - may it all work out well!
ReplyDeleteOh man! Are you going for an epidural? I can't wait to meet him either. So exciting!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going for the epidural. My doctor is willing to try induction first, as long as I understand a C-section is still possible. (I get it...). Now that I'm developing pre-eclampsia, the decision may be closer than I anticipated.... wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteDont get too nervous the day I was induced with Hunter at 37 weeks he was estimated 10 lbs already! Well thank goodness he only came out 7 lbs 9 oz completely healthy! I loved being induced hopefully your doctor allows that to for you to be done especially with a big baby.
ReplyDeleteHe'll probably come early if he really is that big. My second one was big all along and arrived two weeks early and weighed 9 lb 2 oz. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP! Have fun with that! My biggest baby was 7'14. Wyatt was only 6'15. THANK HEAVEN! :) Good luck girly!
