The Memory game

This is a fun little post, to encourage comments from everyone! :) If you post on mine, I'll post on yours!

.................................................................

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is the most memorable for you.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you.

  1. I remember after our fun family reunion in the PNW, we ended in Portland and you guys took W and me out to eat at that yummy Mexican restaurant and we were so impressed (even though we were living in AZ at the time).

I also remember when you took us to eat at the Space Needle for W's graduation. That was so sweet of you guys.

  2. We were visiting your family in Indiana for a couple of weeks in 1990. You had a learner's permit, and drove some while I was a passenger. You were a little nervous getting on the freeway, but did fine. Another time when I was probably in junior high you were visiting Mesa, AZ and took Nikki and me to a roller skating rink, and out for fish and chips. That was high living for a country bumpkin! It was fun. You took us to a movie at some point as well. Always so fun and generous, you are!

  3. remember when I came to visit you at "the BYU" after I graduated early from HS? I also visited Meags. We went to your class- up that "stairway to heaven" massively long staircase. man, you worked hard. You were up late up early the next morning. Totally beat in the morning, as I recall. Anyway, it was fun staying with you and your friend Becky. (How is she these days?) I liked her, too.

Lots of good memories... love ya, sis!

  4. I remember going to your house for about two weeks to help you clean out your basement. It was a rather overwhelming job, I must admit. about half or more of the stuff was computer stuff (from work or something) and I didn't have a clue what to do with it. I decided to start dividing all the stuff in to groups of related things; I put all of the computer stuff in your office (it seemed to fit...) I worked on this for a few hours until there was quite a bit of open space in the basement in stead of the jungle of stuff. I brought you down to show you the progress. You seemed to be quite excited to see the basement so clear. Then... you saw your office. all that excitement seemed to change to a bit of panic. (I can't say that I blame you) I don't remember what exactly we ended up doing w/ all that stuff. I think some went back to your work and and the rest went in the great big round file outside. both the basement and the office were cleared out, an entertainment center set up (with movies in it and everything), and even tables with a little bit of decor put out. all in all I felt like a lot had been accomplished, and I had had fun doing it! :)
